ROBUSTNESS AND STRENGTH
A sustainable investment

• A structure designed to resist mechanical shocks and corrosion thanks to
• its two reinforced top and bottom frames, made of epoxy painted folded steel 
• its 5 aluminium profiles, real bumpers over the whole height of the medical trolley.
• An external cladding made of 2mm composite aluminium plates, covered with a polyester lacquer highly resistant to scratches and light.
• An inner lining made of 4 mm thick ABS, for intensive use.
• A 4mm thick ABS worktop and base plate, rounded to reduce breakage and increase mechanical strength.
• A high density polyethylene curtain that combines flexibility and strength, allowing it to resist shocks.
• Ball bearings, mounted on the bracket and on the axle of the castors, reduce friction when moving the trolley and increase its life span.

HYGIENE, CLEANING AND SAFETY

The answer to hospital requirements

• All plastic parts, including the worktop, are made of ABS/PMMA (two-layer material). This material has far superior properties to ABS alone (the commonly used material), particularly in terms of tolerance to products such as Betadine or other detergents. In addition, the PMMA layer gives the product an excellent appearance, high resistance to abrasion and protection against UV rays, which slows down the ageing of colours and oxidation.
• The choice of materials, aluminium composite and ABS/PMMA, is linked to their cleaning quality. They can withstand the products commonly used in the hospital environment, such as Anios.
• The rounded shapes of the worktop, with no right angles, were also chosen to make cleaning easier.
• The curtain can be removed to allow easy access to the trolley for thorough cleaning of the interior, the profiles, the base (with drain hole) and the aluminium back panel.
• The flexible polyurethane strips on the double wheels leave no trace on the floor. The anti-wire axle is perfectly sealed against dust and dirt, thus guaranteeing the smooth running of the castor.
• The trolley is locked by a four-digit lock for greater security. Inadvertent tampering with the initial code is impossible, as the lock must be removed from its block to change the code. In the event of a deliberate change and loss of the code, the key makes it possible to find it again: maximum security for the users.

ERGONOMICS

Optimum user comfort

• The work surface, with its useful dimensions of 600x470mm, is located at a height of 1030 mm: this is the perfect combination of a large working space and a height recommended in care institutions.
• The light weight of the Chameleon, 24kg, and the rounded shape of the worktop make the medical trolley easy to handle.
• Optimised for 600x400 trays, the distance between each level allows a pencil tray to be taken without having to pull the tray. This avoids unnecessary handling.
• The curtain can be opened in two stages, allowing the nursing staff to open only the upper part. When closed, the wedge under the work surface guides and positions the curtain correctly in any position. In combination with a magnet, the curtain can be held in a closed but unsecured position for greater ease of use.
• The handle can be fully accommodated in the base plate when the curtain is fully opened. This means that the handle is not a source of discomfort for the user.
• The ball bearings of the double wheels and their 125mm diameter reduce the force required to move it by 35%.
• The brakes on the wheels have been designed to be easily released by simply pressing the foot on the upper part.

• Medical trolley with 12 levels, standard 600x400, to accommodate trays, baskets, shelves or feather trays.
• Ideal for the distribution of medicines, the Chameleon can also be used as a multi-purpose trolley, for care or for visits.
• The aluminium profiles are fitted with universal rails to adapt all the accessories needed by the nursing staff.
• Designed to meet the needs of computerised patient records, two solutions have been developed in-house: 1/ the computer drawer for a secure PC solution; 2/ an ergonomic arm, with a left-right rotation and an adaptable tray to accommodate a 17" PC or a tablet computer.
